A transformation from a leaky roof to a new beautiful roof replacement by the Buck Buckley team.
Talonda and her husband, Corey, homeowners of their residence for five years, recently scheduled a meeting to address issues with their soffits and fascia. Recognizing the urgency with the impending snow season, they sought repairs for holes in the soffits and fascia.
This home had water pouring into the house during rain, so we replaced main chimney flashing, added ice and water barrier, replaced step-flashing and counter flashing.
This home needed for all of their ridge cap shingles to be replaced since they were rotting away, which can cause leaking along the hips and ridges of the house. This is typically caused by faulty or recalled shingles and will have worn down over the past 10 years.
We went in to replace all damaged ridge caps and hip cap shingles with IKO Dynasty AR hip and ridge shingles and replaced the ridge vent with Owens Coming VentSure ridge vents since it’s a more unique design. We also inspected popped shingles along the valleys and repaired those areas pending the homeowner’s approval.
In New Berlin, WI, a homeowner is seeking to repair their existing roof due to a puddle forming in the garage after heavy rains. The garage roof is 15 years old, and the issue was noticed near the front of the garage. The homeowner bought the house about 4 years ago and had the back half of the roof redone 6 years ago, which is in good condition except for a couple of nail pops near the ridge. The repair will involve using IKO Dynasty shingles in the Granite Black color and installing aluminum flat step flashing to address the leak.
