Replacing a roof in Milwaukee, WI. This roof needed to be replaced due to age of 25 years old and had some leaking by the chimney. After completely ripping off all three layers we installed the new roof and properly sealed the chimney, stopping the leak.
This garage was leaking in 5 different places and as you can see on the before image, this leak was causing issues with wood underlayment. We came out right away and replaced the damaged wood and shingles with brand new wood and brand new IKO Dynasty shingles to prevent any more leaks and damage. The homeowner can now store whatever he wants in his garage, knowing it will be safe and dry when he closes the door.
Installed new IKO Dynasty architectural lifetime shingles in replacement of old shingles. Installed new drip metal on all eaves of the roof deck, and new rake metal along all rake edges. New vent pipe boot flashings and chimney flashings were installed to replace old material.
The customer contacted us seeking an estimate for a roof repair due to some asphalt shingles coming off their roof. They mentioned being unsure of the roof's age but stated that they purchased the home over a year ago and have noticed loose and falling shingles. Despite these issues, there are currently no leaks. After discussing the repair, we were able to negotiate a deal for a full roof replacement. The customer opted to keep the existing pod vents but decided against adding gutters to stay within budget. Additionally, we will dispose of a satellite antenna and add a bath hood for the second-floor bathroom.
In Milwaukee, WI, a homeowner is planning a full roof replacement on their 10-year-old roof, which has areas with missing shingles. The homeowner was impressed by the quick response after their inquiry. The project will cover 1,486 square feet and involve reinstalling 3-tab shingles on the front and rear gable roofs. Existing loose 3-tab shingles will be checked, secured with ring shank nails, and sealed with roof sealant. The new roof will feature IKO Dynasty shingles in the Brownstone color, along with the installation of chimney flashing, drip, and rake metal for added durability.
