We replaced Barbara's entire EPDM (flat) roof after a bad windstorm had torn the entire roof off.
In Milwaukee, WI, a homeowner faced a leak on the front pitch of their roof, which was replaced about 10-12 years ago. The issue stemmed from a poor installation with tar paper and original flashings, resulting in a leak at the front foyer ceiling. To resolve this, we proposed a comprehensive solution for the 2195 sqft roof. This includes matching tan edge metals, installing Brownstone shingles with copper penny flashing, and addressing the chimney flashing. Additionally, we will install new step flashing and aluminum soffit to ensure a durable and effective repair.
This garage had rotted/damaged wood and needed to replace the gutters, surrounding shingles, and ridge caps. We replaced any damaged wood with CDX Plywood, installed IKO Ice and Water Shield on all drip edges, and IKO synthetic underlayment on the wood balance. We also installed a new F8 aluminum drip metal on all eaves of the roof deck, and new ridge caps since the fascia was worn out. Topping it off with IKO Dynasty architectural lifetime shingles, they won’t be having any more problems with their garage roof!
This roof was over 30 years old (the average roof lasts around 20 years in Wisconsin) and wanted a total roof replacement: the shingles were curling and deteriorating. We went in to replace the roof on the house and the garage. We gave them a new fascia, soffit, and gutters on the garage as well.
We installed IKO Goldshield Ice & Water protector on all drip edges, walls, chimneys, and valleys because it was a steep roof.
They needed underlayment for the planked decking, therefore they also needed an IKO Roofguard CoolGrey synthetic underlayment on the balance of wood for waterproofing.
Since this home is in the process of being put on the market, we made the warranty transferable!
This garage roof was over 30 years old! They had a basketball hoop on it that they removed, but unfortunately, this left 2 large holes in the roof decking that was rotting away. After time, water was going into the garage so they didn't even want to use it for their cars! If this problem wouldn't be fixed soon, they would get more wood rot from water seeping into other areas of the roof decking. So after they called us up we replaced all the rotted wood with CDX plywood, Ice and Water, and new shingles on the entire garage.
