In Milwaukee, WI, a homeowner is looking to completely replace their roof, which was installed about 9 years ago and is now leaking. The project involves installing new IKO Dynasty shingles in the Brownstone color, replacing the small chimney flashing, and adding new vent pipe boot flashings. The scope of work will also include installing drip and rake metal, as well as replacing any rotted or damaged wood. The total roof area is 1,761 square feet.
This back porch in Milwaukee WI had a rubber roof that was peeling due to old age and the adhesive no longer working. We peeled off the rubber roofing and installed Modified Bitumen (mod bit) roofing, which is made from bitumen and ceramic granules. The chimney flashing was also completed to give the roof a finished look and seal the connection between the roof and chimney.
This roof lost many shingles in a recent windstorm. Klaus Roofing Systems worked with the homeowner's insurance company and replaced the roof.
This home had water pouring into the house during rain, so we replaced main chimney flashing, added ice and water barrier, replaced step-flashing and counter flashing.
