A homeowner in West Allis needed a new rubber roof with railing posts installed on his 4,782-square-foot home. The existing roof was leaking by the north side termination bar. Additionally, the project involved removing a large skylight and addressing small chimney flashing issues.
In Milwaukee, WI, a homeowner required a partial roof replacement to address leaks seeping into their bedroom. Our inspection revealed that the flashing needed repair and the shingles were not staggered correctly. Additionally, an old antenna mast on the back of the house was identified as a primary cause of the leak. This mast, currently used as a tie for the internet cable, will be relocated and hooked to the fascia to prevent further water intrusion.
This chimney didn't have any flashing! As a result, their ceiling needed repairs in multiple rooms. We suspected what might have caused this problem was a chimney flashing without any step flashing our counter flashing with aluminum.
To take care of this problem, we removed a few rows of shingles around the chimney, installed IKO Goldshield Ice and Water protector, reflashed the chimney, and added a new chimney cap. We knew with the change of the season this home owner would want us out there as soon as possible, so we were able to get over there within the next week.
We replaced the entire roof on the house and the garage. The shingles were curled and falling off and there was rot underneath the roof, so we replaced the underlayment as well.
Customer had multiple locations throughout their roof that would leak in inclement weather. Our roofing specialist and team thought it was best to fully replace their roof in order to avoid any future leaks. New drip and rake metal was installed, along with new chimney flashing. Our IKO Dynasty lifetime architectural shingles were also installed. Another happy customer served with quality work!
