Roof Replacement Before & After Photos

This duplex in Milwaukee WI was in need of a new roof! We started by stripping two layers of asphalt shingle and one layer of cedar shake. After that, we replaced the decking and installed laminated IKO shingles. In the process, we removed three satellite dishes for the customer and added aluminum flashing to the chimney. Doing this makes the connection from the chimney to the roof watertight. 

We transformed this roof that was falling apart, into a beautiful new roof in Milwaukee. 

Justin, a homeowner in Shorewood, WI, reached out to Klaus Roofing Systems by Buck Buckley with a pressing concern. During a recent heavy rainstorm, he noticed water damage appearing on one of his walls, signaling a potential roof leak. During the roof inspection, we identified the source of the leak and uncovered damaged and rotted wood beneath the existing roofing. Our team removed the old roofing materials, replaced compromised wood with high-quality cdx plywood, and reinforced the structure by back-nailing loose plywood.

To ensure long-lasting protection, we installed KRS SealoronXT Ice & Water Protector along all drip edges, walls, chimneys, and valleys. The addition of VeloraONE Synthetic Underlayment and new F8 aluminum drip metal along the roof deck provided added durability. The new IKO Dynasty architectural lifetime shingles not only fortified the home against future weather events but also delivered a fresh, polished look.

Installed at the peak of a sloped roof, the ridge vent allows damp, warm air to escape from the attic. A properly installed ridge vent increases energy efficiency and prolongs the life of your roof.
