We discovered significant damage on the homeowners 20-year-old roof, noting concerns about granule loss from the shingles. A previous storm chaser had marked up the entire roof. The project involves a new roof replacement, including removing the existing roofing down to the wood, replacing any rotted or damaged wood with CDX plywood, and installing various components such as ice and water protector, deck tape, synthetic underlayment, aluminum drip metal, rake metal, vent pipe boot flashings, chimney flashing, starter strips, architectural shingles, ridge vent, and hip and ridge cap shingles. The project aims to address the hail damage and ensure the roof's longevity and durability.
A homeowner in Oconomowoc, WI, was experiencing a persistent leak in her multi-layered rubber roof, which was approximately 15 years old. The roof, consisting of a white rubber layer installed over the original rubber roof in 2009, had a leak over the back bedroom window. With no attic to inspect, the issue appeared to be with the 2-piece gutter along the back, rather than the roof itself.
A homeowner in Oconomowoc, WI, is looking to get an estimate for a new roof on their 30+ year-old garden shed, which was struck by lightning a few years ago. They are considering IKO Dynasty shingles in the Biscayne color.
In Hartford, WI, the homeowner needs a complete tear-off of their roof, which is over 20 years old. The project covers 2994 sq ft of the house, using IKO Dynasty Froststone Grey shingles. However, the second-story dormer section will not be replaced, and neither will the drip edges or gutter apron. The project also includes installing small chimney flashing.
The flashing on the house was torn off in the most recent wind storm. We replaced the flashing on that side of the house.
