This is a photo of the home before we began tearing off the existing six layers of shingle.
Chimney
The chimney needed to be torn off because it was no longer up to code.
Decking
Plywood was placed on top of the original decking because it was not proper for asphalt shingles and nails could miss the boards.
Installing Shingles
New shingles are being installed on top of Ice & Water
Seam Tape
Seam tape is placed everywhere that the deck boards meet as an extra layer of protection, keeping water from leaking in.
Installing Shingles
The installers use roof jacks and boards to keep themselves and their tools from sliding off steep roofs.
