Photo Album: Roof Replacement - New Berlin

The roof on this home in New Berlin, WI was 20 years old and needed to be replaced. We tore off all of the old shingles and replaced them with Castel Grey colored IKO Dynasty Asphalt Shingles. We also installed a new ridge vent to provide and maintain high-quality ventilation. The scope of work also included the installation of drip and rake metal and Perma-Boot pipe flashing.

Before

This is a photo of the home before we did any work on it. You can see visible discoloration of the shingles from old age.

Ice & Water

After the previous roofing materials are torn off, IKO GoldShield Ice & Water is installed along the eaves and valleys of the home.

Underlayment

After ice & water is put on the roof, underlayment is laid down as another layer of protection against extreme weather.

Installing Shingles

In this photo you can see two crewmen are installing shingles, starting at the bottom of the roof and working their way up.

Completed Roof

This is a photo of the finished roof with ACM aluminum drip edge, and Castle Grey colored shingles installed with Galvanized Steel Roofing Nails.
