Partial Roof Replacement - Milwaukee
Challenge
This home had water coming into their house, damaging their drywall ceiling. This was caused by shingle and underlayment failure, which was affecting their day to day life because they wanted to remodel their kitchen but couldn't complete that work until the leak and roof were fixed.
They knew their roof would need to be replaced entirely, but wanted to focus on the kitchen remodel and wasn't sure what the best option would be going forward with this project.
Solution
By replacing the full slope on the front of their home, their leak issue was solved.
We used Ice & Water protector, CoolGrey synthetic underlayment, and IKO Dynasty shingles so they would never have to worry about the front of their house.
Ryan gave the homeowner 3 different options to fix the issue:
1. Put a band-aid on it (not the Klaus Way)
2. Replace the slope where the leak was
3. Replace a section of the roof (which included 3 slopes)
The homeowner chose to invest in the future and integrity of their roof by doing it the right way and selected the 3rd option.
Ryan was also able to accommodate the owner's 3rd shift work schedule on our visits, and Nick was able to complete the job in ONE day and TWO weeks after the contract was signed!
